Heroscope Media is the creative company of five-time Emmy-winning editor, director, and producer Jeff Cvitkovic.

For more than 25 years, Jeff has shaped premium documentary and unscripted programming for Netflix, Amazon, HISTORY, A&E, AMC, ESPN, FOX Sports, TNT, and PBS. Since starting out with more than a decade at NFL Films, his work has spanned:

He has always been drawn to one question: How do we take the stories, images, and ideas we already have and find new ways to bring them to life?

 

That question drives Heroscope. Jeff designs AI-enabled workflows for A&E Networks that adapt library programming into high-volume microseries, and he created the generative-AI recreation sequences for a feature documentary investigation. He also brings network-level storytelling to brands and legacy clients, including Optum, Intuit QuickBooks, and the Estate of Jack Kerouac.

His relationship with archives goes back decades. He has spent weeks in the National Archives, searched through years of amateur home movies and rare footage, and built stories from material that seemed impossible to find or use. That experience shapes Heroscope’s approach to archival strategy, discovery, restoration, and creative reuse.

Jeff holds a BS in Radio/TV/Film and Creative Writing from Northwestern University and an MA in Writing from Johns Hopkins University, along with AI training from The New School and Curious Refuge.
